Oriental Buffet in Kissimmee

My favorite buffet in town. You get descent food for a fantastic price. Remember it is only $4.99 for lunch. You get what you pay for so dont expect anything fancy. They also include 15% gratuity so $4.00 becomes $6.36 with tax and tip.

Let's start with the bad things, most of the food wasn't hot. Old food didn't look new. They add 15% gratuity so watch out it's not stated price. We asked for Coca cola and got Big K. We got out drinks like 15 minutes after we got there and were waiting, had to ask the lady for our drinks again. Now to the good things, some of the food was really good but then again some of it was bad the lomein was really good. Would not return.

My wife and I ate lunch there today for the 1st time. They tell you that they are adding a 15% gratuity to the bill up front but they charged my card 20%. If this wasn't bad enough as I was eating their pork stuffed noodle that I put in my wonton broth I bit into a shell from a mussel. When we asked for the manager an older Asian women came over and agreed that is what it was. Since I said there are no mussels out how would it get in the pork stuffed noodle. She said they make mussels at night. Again I said it was in pork. She said it fall in. I'm glad I'm not allergic to shell fish. She did not offer any apology. Needless to say we will not ever go back.

Wow I should have checked the reviews first the sushi was soft and warm , and is that really chicken ?I'd prefer an old half eaten burger from McDonalds

Went 3 times in 3 days, twice for dinner and once for lunch. So much food to chose from that we didn't get tired of it. Cant believe how cheap it was, you would never see a buffet like this for that cheap in Australia. Food was simple and tasted great, my wife and I were very happy. Don't know what there is to complain about for that much food at that price. Would definitely go back if we're ever in the area again!

Advertising $4.99 lunch but family of 4 cost $30 cash auto added $ drink. minimal food items most of food too dry hard o too sweet /salty. Didn't top off empty platter food. Didn't care for sushi due to 4 o 5 plates sushi on counter

Great food amazing prices and wonderful owners

$5.99 all day buffet (even on Sunday!), can't really beat that. The selection isn't big, but what they do have is delicious and fresh. The soda is their own brand, but I tried the cola, and it tastes just like Pepsi. My bill was $6.50... that's WITH a drink. Again, the selection isn't huge, but what I normally get from a buffet, was what they had here, so I was pleasantly happy 👍 Well, well worth the price. If you're thinking about the other buffets in the area, like one in a close parking lot to this one...I will tell you that the other place's chicken and beef are all mushy. Bamboo House's beef and chicken were all crispy and delicious.I DEFINITELY will be back!

This place is conveniently located on what I call "The Disney Strip." lol. The lunch price made me curious and lured me in. Looking around quickly I noticed a beautiful chandelier with great artwork on the ceiling and streaming food ready for consumption. As my husband and I got seated we went up and got our first plate. Sadly, it was below luke-warm, almost cold, and bland. Our waiter was also our cashier so we didn't get the personalized attention which we're used to. Definitely not the kind of buffet we desire.

Great value for money, delicious food. $7.99 for all you can eat Chinese Buffet. Had to be rolled out the door! Lol

The food looks great and the place is very nice, but the lunch special doesn't last long. The food tastes ok, nothing special and you expect more from a restaurant when it comes to flavor.

This establisment was very sketchy from the beginning and we had to pay upfront with tip already included and the food was very old with a very limited variety... No shrimp at all!! Do not come here for seafood... there's none....The drinks had a weird taste and the dessert stand was literally regular desserts thrown together... *we wanted to walk out before we even sat but we had already paid* praying we don't get sick. Please do not waste your time here.

Since they changed the name...the selection has got smaller...food was cold...no flavor and just all around not very good. Very disappointed this was a hidden gem :-(

Absolutely awful, if you like authentic oriental food don't eat here. Nothing on the buffet was worth $4.99. (Now that's bad.. ) on a good note the shuisi was pretty good only at one.

It's a family run business in the local community the food are fabulous and the pice are cheap

Really wished I read the reviews 1st!An awful place...... we went quite late at night....as it was the only Chinese buffet still open at that time- the food was cold; selection pathetic; service?!? What service? The old lady smiles at you and that’s about it! I couldn’t, I mean daren’t, eat a thing! Don’t advertise as late night opening if you aren’t prepared to provide the same quality you do at opening time!!! Although, judging from other reviews I’m not so sure there would be much difference!!!!

First of all the sign outside says dinner is $7.99, however when you get inside you are charged $8.99. You are also expected to pay up front which I have never experienced in the many Chinese buffets that I've been to. The food is not very good. Again, I've eaten at many Chinese buffets and this one does not even come close to meeting par. The service is lackluster at best and unfortunately I did not notice that she charged a tip before I even got my dinner, so I left a tip as well. Tips are supposed to be for service given, not a given at time of purchase. If you want decent Chinese food in a buffet restaurant, go somewhere else.

Very kind older lady trying to survive during COVID times. She and her staff are authentic. Food is too.

If I give this place negative Stars I would this was the worst I repeat the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to! They were washing Rags outside the food was disgusting and I believe they know that it was disgusting because this is the only Chinese buffets I've ever been to that makes you pay upfront. If you can avoid this avoid it there is another buffet two blocks down the road that I'm sure it's better than this one.

Food was good. Not perfect. And it was fresh. They have a small selection of choices. I've seen other reviews stating otherwise, simply because their expecting perfection from an imperfect world. Their upfront and honest. I've known this place used to be the "Oriental Buffet". And as of right now it's still under the same owner. I'm wondering what his or her plans are for this place. Since it's now called "Bamboo House", with a smaller menu, and good food. The price is fair. $5.99 for all you can eat. You can't expect too much from that. In my opinion, this is more of place where I'd go to get a quick bite to eat. And good thing about it is, it doesn't hurt my wallet.

Went there this week. They got a new facelift for the place it looks better however the food is absolutely disgusting now. Plus they have reduced the variety as well. It looks like a family owned place and i really want it to succeed but the food quality is atrocious. Will not go here again.

It's worse than prison food run by a old Chinese woman scams you for dinner buffet at 2pm. Worst dining experience in town. You cannot get a worse place to eat. Sorry guys never this harsh. But good luck if anyone wants to go. Plates are not washed just rinsed in some bucket. Plates came back with food particles in it. They should shut this place down. Seriously it's a health hazard.

Great price for a buffet and your drink in this area. The choices are good for the price. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We asked for more noodles and fried fish, they prepared it with no problem. Definitely worth trying.

The Singapore Mai Fun that was supposed to be spicy, was PLAIN noodles and meat. No spice, no flavor, no heat. It was horrible, tasteless and the most expensive thing I ordered. The appetizers were ok. Fast delivery!

This restaurant was very popular with us and had a great selection of food. Clean restaurant clean bathrooms and service was very nice.

Been here so many time. The food is delicious, enjoy almost every dish. The price is super cheap suits for tourist!!

Good food for the price. Bourbon chicken was amazing. Sushi didn't have utensils, but was good. Would recommend for a quick and cheap dinner.

Ate there for a late lunch and have been feeling nauseous since. Most food was overcooked and not very good at all. Hate we had to pay before trying it. Based on their food quality, that is likely the only way they are still in business.

Food was not held at proper temperature as almost everything was barely warm but it all tasted great! The mini seafood bread bowls were AMAZING!

This place is great for a quick inexpensive meal. And you can get takeout if u need something good on the way. The employees are really nice. But the tables could be a little cleaner.

We came from Sydney Australia 18 months ago to visit the Disney Parks. We were staying in a motel around the corner and one night we noticed that the oriental buffet was selling all you can eat for $8.99. But beware, you get what you pay for. Food was pretty rubbish. Dry, old tasting, drinks were OK. I had some sweet and sour pork which tasted OK, along with some garlic bread. Some of the other food on display didn't look to appetising. Desert looked alright. Went to longhorn around corner and yeah its more expensive, but the food is 110% better.

All you can eat. 5.99.

Price includes a drink.. food was very good but slow coming out to refill the buffet. No egg rolls, spring rolls or soups like most buffets but there was still a good selection. Staff was very friendly!

We came here last year and the place was great. Cheap prices and good food for what you pay. However, we are back in Orlando again and came here for lunch and the place is now under new ownership. The new owners raised the prices, which is fine because the prices now include your drinks, but now they have about a quarter of the food choices that they had before, only having rice, noodles, 3 types of chicken, spring rolls, and "crab" rangoons. The food was also very overcooked and the chicken was hard to eat. We also waited on fried rice to be served because the tray was empty but the entire time we were there they never put out anymore rice.

Food selection isn’t the best, but the service was great. The sushi was excellent and the freshest I’ve seen... granted I had to wait for it to be finished but I’d rather wait for fresh sushi than eat sushi that’s been there forever. For the price this place is great. Don’t expect amazing on a dime.

Expansive buffet yeah right! They didn't even have white rice. Went in at about 5:30 to 6pm and it looked like the food was left over from lunch. Not much selection at all.

Food is good, over 50 dishes to choose from. Be prepared to pay around 10$ per person, because they include tax and tips.I'm not sure why people gave bad reviews, maybe they are expecting 5 star service for 10$.

Food was not the best. Most things were overcooked or didn't have much flavour. Sushi was hardly out. Although when it was out was pretty good. Decently priced. Service was good. Probably not coming going back a second time.

I read reviews about this restaurant before trying it out. I saw many low ratings. I decided to just look at feedback from "LOCAL GUIDES". Most of the feedback from LOCAL GUIDES convinced me to try this Buffet. I went for lunch today. The food was fresh and a good selection. Everything was clean, dirty plates were picked up as soon as I stood up to get another plate of food. The waiter was very pleasant and never made me wait for refills on my drink. I did talk to the lady that owns this restaurant. She asked me if everything was ok. I told her that everything I had was good and that I will be back. Everyone made me feel welcome. I am not a tourist, I live nearby. I thank the owner for having a reasonable priced buffet.

I though it was a buffet, but it was not. Owner changed restaurant style to be you create your own plate for just $5!!! Foods are fresh, delicious and there're varieties of them to choose. Service is very prompt and friendly.

Nothing especial.Prices for two adults and one child around 30 bucks. Two lines of hot food, another line of fruits/sweets and a sushi line. They charge you before dinning in including tips before you even try the food and how the service is.FYI dear readers I love oriental food and sushi, but this is not a place that I will recommend. I am a traveler I have been to several buffets and this one is by far the worse. Also food is extra greasy. Not going back again

I was shocked at how good the food actually is!! Five stars all the way!! It is now my new favorite place to eat!! Plus it's priced great too, and the drink is included!!

Ugh. Don't go! We went at 3pm. It was supposed to be 4.99 for Lunch, 7.99 for dinner. I was charged for dinner. The "seafood" (that apparently makes it "dinner") was brought out eventually ... Barely fried fish and barely fried calamari (both VERY fishy), barely coated and fried unpealed (shell and head on) shrimp, half-crabs, and a couple of trays of different flavored fake crab- one of which was BAD- as in spoiled-. I didn't want to take a chance on the other fake crab meat after that. I told two different people it was bad, but they left it there anyway. My "Krab rangoons" had nothing much in them- not even cream cheese. The mushrooms were ok, and they had what was essentially chicken fried rice sans veggies that was ok. We didn't get any drink refills at all. The tip is automatically added to your bill when you enter the building so there was no way to reduce it for poor service. I won't go again.

Paid 15$ for two people. Most of it was disturbing but i found a few things id eat. Things were sweet that weren't supposed to be sweet. Half of the products had no name and looked questionable. Ended up with stomach ache that night and the next morning. The bathroom knew my name. Ill wont go Back. I would have rather paid 30$ for a meal for 2 and knew what we were eating.

Not a huge selection but.... The food was great and fresh.. The service was also great and I spent less money than if I got fast food. Also the soda they make themselves was tasty. Wish they had a sixth star

3 stars was too low but 4 stars was too high. There was nothing that stood out that would warrant 4 stars. The food was good, the establishment was clean, and the service was good. Some people leave reviews because they get in their feelings and be very opinionated. The sign states gratuity included in which I am all for because people expect cheap food and are not willing to tip at the same time. Well this way you can get cheap food and not worry about the tip. Again, I gave it 3 stars because most Oriental restaurants I have eaten at, had the live chef to cook as well as the buffet. But of course the price was higher as well. So in closure, it is a good place to eat at a cheap price that offers a variety of different foods that INCLUDES GRATUITY. So a 2 person dinner buffet will cost you $19.58 total! P.S. The music was great. Did not tak pictures of my plate because it was not organized lol and my phone was being charged.

There was once a time Florida didn't have good Chinese food, this is great PLACE check it out!!
